Timeline

Planning for an Empire competition involves keeping track of deadlines, both when you apply and when you register. If your application is approved, you’ll be required to submit payment and information to us very quickly in the months leading up to the competition; our registration is a three-step process in which each step is tied to a specific deadline. Making sure that you can meet our deadlines is an important part of determining whether Empire is right for you.

  • March 5

    Application period opens

  • June 21

    Priority application deadline

    Teams may continue to apply after the deadline, if additional spots remain

  • July 3

    Teams receive their competition assignment

  • July 15

    Case released to registered teams

    A team is 'registered' when they are admitted & submit their registration deposit

  • August 16

    Registration balance due (all competitions)

  • September 9


    Empire Philadelphia hotel payment due for full reservation

  • October 11

    World Championship (Hilton Chicago) hotel payment due for full reservation
