A school may send no more than two (2) teams to a single Empire competition

As you may know, participating at an Empire competition will require your team to prepare a complex mock trial case over the summer months and into the fall. Why are you eager to take on this challenge?

Tell us about a time where mock trial challenged you to think critically about an issue that is important to a healthy society, which is not necessarily legal in nature (e.g. a case that involved texting while driving or mass incarceration). What, did you learn from the case? How, if at all, did it impact your view of the issue?
