Empire Classic

Overview

Back in 2007, there weren’t many high school mock trial competitions held in the (American) fall months. So, we went to work! From our very first day, Empire has worked tirelessly to develop a competition model that combines high quality case materials, fun social events and enriching public service projects.

At Empire Classic, students from across the globe gather in a metropolitan city to meet, “mock,” and forge memories that last a lifetime. Over the course of a weekend, students compete in four trials, attend ceremonies (opening / closing), experience a new city, and bond at activities, like the student dance.

Since our founding, Empire has run in-person competitions in five cities—Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, New York, San Francisco—and Hong Kong. We are excited to be in Philadelphia for the first time in 2024.
